Biography

Requiem (1997-present): a Death Metal band from Schübelbach, Switzerland.

N

ot to be confused with Requiem from Killwangen, Switzerland, this Requiem would debut with the Nameless Grave EP (2001) featuring Philipp Klauser (guitars), Ralph Inderbitzin (guitars), Michi Kuster (vocals/bass) and Adi Fuhrer (drums) after their Murder U.S.A. single of earlier that same year.

Formed at Birth (2003) saw the first membership change with Reto Crola now on drums and Patrick Hersche taking bass, but the bass role soon changed hands again with Ralf W. Garcia taking over for Government Denies Knowledge (2006) and Premier Killing League (2007) with Ralph Inderbitzin departing before the release of Infiltrate...Obliterate...Dominate (2009) making the band a 4-piece. The band was further reduced to a 3-piece with the departure of Kuster for Within Darkened Disorder (2011), however, he would be back for the follow-ups Global Resistance Rising (2018) and Collapse into Chaos (2021), along side new member Matze Schiemann who assumed the vacant guitar slot.
