The Autumn OfferingBiography/HistoryThe Autumn Offering (1999-2010): a Metalcore band from Daytona Beach, Florida, USA. I n 1999 The Autumn Offering formed when former bassist Sean Robbins was a freshman in high school and joined forces with Mike Bortle (drums), Tony Cesaro (guitars), Matt Johnson (guitars) and Dennis Miller (vocals) to release the EP, Summer 2002 EP (2002). By 2003, they had completed several regional tours and self-booked US tours. After Hatebreed front-man Jamey Jasta took notice of them, they signed to 'Stillborn Records' and released Revelations of the Unsung (2004) under the line-up of Sean Robbins (bass), Nick Gelyon (drums), Matt Johnson (guitars), George Moore (guitars/vocals) and Dennis Miller (vocals). They then toured with bands like Slayer, Slipknot, Mastodon, God Forbid, Killswitch Engage among others. 2006 would see Tommy Church on guitars along side Johnson for Embrace the Gutter. Fear Will Cast No Shadow (2007) saw Johnson and Gelyon gone and not replaced, and Matt McChesney (ex-Twytch/ex-Hell Within) assume vocals, but the former two would be replaced with Brian Sculley (drums) and Michael Poggione (bass) for the follow-up Requiem (2009). Carl Bensley took bass and Jesse Nunn joined on guitars replacing Johnsdon for the self-titled The Autumn Offering (2010). The act would split soon after. Dashboard for The Autumn Offering
