In the autumn of 1996, Blood Of Christ earned their first recording contract on the now defunct 'Pulverizer Records' (based in Chicago, Illinois) to release ...A Dream To Remember during March 1997 featuring Conan Bulani on vocals. Blood Of Christ's first full-length album would also hit the European shores with the help of a licensing deal through 'Diehard Music' in Denmark.
The band advanced onward into the new millennium and crafted yet another full-length album for Montreal's 'Skyscraper Music'. Their second album, As the Rain Gently Falls (Anthology II) (2002) showcased a more mature and versatile sound, even incorporating more acoustic guitars and clean guitar experimentation with Greg Idasz taking over bass, vocals & keyboards and Conan Bulani (R.I.P. 2011) on vocals. In 2003 their Breeding Chaos Anthology III) album would be released featuring the LongoDan Hulse taking up the vocals and bass. It would be their last for some time for in 2006 the act split up, the bulk of the membership forming Autumn 1971.
In 2015 the act would reform under the membership of Jason Longo (drums), Jeff Longo (guitars), Mark Chandler (bass) and Chris Gooding (vocals) to release Unrelenting Declivity of Anguish (Anthology IV) (2018) and a split CD in 2019.
