Devil Childe

little-known release from, what was believed at the time, a trio of teenagers in the form of Anton Phibes (Real Name: Ned Meloni; bass), Lucifer (Real Name: Jack Starr; guitars) and Matthew Hopkins (Real Name: Joseph Hasselvander; vocals/drums), Devil Childe would take an early Iron Maiden influence (indeed, the opening song, "Devil Childe", bears a striking resemblance to "Wrathchild"), adding in a fuzzy guitar sound, the end result was pretty basic stuff for the time and the band only released the one recording before the members went their own ways; Starr most notably going on to his own project, Burning Starr.
