Burning StarrBIOGRAPHYBurning Starr (1984-1989, 2004-present): a Heavy Metal band from New York, New York, USA. B urning Starr is a solo band of guitarist Jack Starr who also makes the act known as Jack Starr's Burning Starr, one-time guitarist of Virgin Steele and several other bands (in the case of Devil Childe where he played under a pseudonym), as well as recording several solo albums under his name alone. Each recording, starting with 1985's Rock the American Way, featured himself along with session and guest musicians, starting with Bruno Ravel (bass), Greg D'Angelo (drums: track 1), Tony Galtieri (drums) and Frank Vestry (vocals). In 1986, Starr would return again with another album in the form of 1986's No Turning Back! now featuring himself with David DeFeis (keyboards), Thumper Who (Real Name: Keith Collins; bass), Mark Edwards (drums) and Mike Tirelli (vocals). Blaze of Glory (1987) would see the membership change to feature Free Bass (R.I.P. 1994 of drug overdose; Real Name: William Fairchild; bass) and Jim Harris (drums). One more album, Jack Starr's Burning Starr, came in 1989 with Edward Spahn on keyboards before the act split.
