SaintBIOGRAPHYSaint (1982-1989, 1999-present): a Heavy Metal band from Salem, Oregon, USA. O ne of the better-known Christian bands of the eighties, Saint was based primarily on arguably their best-known work, 1986's Time's End under the membership of Josh Kramer (vocals), John Mahan (guitars/vocals (backing)), Richard Lynch (bass/vocals (backing)) and Brian Willis (drums), a very Judas Priest-sounding affair due to the Halford-esque vocals of Josh Kramer. The somewhat similar Too Late For Living followed featuring Dee Harrington (guitars) and John Perrine (drums) before the band folded. In the late nineties a revamped lineup with Richard Lynch (bass), Dee Harrington (guitars) and Tim Lamberson (drums/vocals) reformed and released The Perfect Life EP (1999), which boasted more radio-friendly hard rock. When main-man Lynch teamed up with Kramer again, Warriors of the Son emerged featuring also Jerry Johnson (guitars) and Larry London (drums). In the Battle (2004; seeing a return to the Judas Priest style), The Mark (2006) and Crime Scene Earth (2008) followed. For Hell Blade (2009), Bill Brost took drums, but London was back for Crime Scene Earth 2.0 (2010) and The Revelation (2011). But the drums were once again changing hands for Desperate Night (2012) now featuring Jared Knowland. Read All... ⏬ Broad Is the Gate saw Brian Phyll Miller on vocals, and Matthew P Smith on guitars.
