Dessert (1989-1990): a Heavy Metal band from Riga, Latvia.

T

his was essentially a one-off band. They started in 1989 and disbanded sometime around or soon after 1991 as there is no evidence of their existence after that. Featuring the membership of Robert Burov (bass), Egils Grinbergs (drums) and Sergey Shvets (vocals) they would release the Rockin' from Riga EP in 1990. Sometime soon after, the membership changed to include Andy Bashun (guitars), Dmitry Fedotov (guitars), Andris Ozolinsh (keyboards) and Erik Budevits (keyboards/vocals) before splitting up sometime after.
