Desert

BIOGRAPHY

Desert (2002-present): a Power Metal band from Be'er Sheva, Israel.

t would be with the release of the Prophecy of the Madman EP (2006) that Desert would make their debut under the membership of Alexei Raymar (vocals), Max Shafranski (guitars), Vadim Shulman (bass), Oleg Aryutkin (keyboards) and Max Balagula (drums). This album would be followed by Star of Delusive Hopes (2011) several years later and a line-up shift featuring Zohar Telor (drums), Sergei Dmitrik (bass) and Sergei Nemichenitser (guitars).

Never Regret (2015) featured Assaf Markowitz assuming drums, but their fourth studio effort, Fortune Favors the Brave (2019) saw the departure of Shafranski with no replacement, where-as Soul of a Wanderer - Revisited (2022) saw the arrival of Sascha Latman take bass along side remaining members Aryutkin, Alexei Raymar (vocals) and Markowitz who was now playing cajon.
