ritish act Memoriam formed following the disbanding of Bolt Thrower with the passing of their drummer Martin Kearns. As a tribute to their fallen comrade, drummer Andy Whale and vocalist Karl Willetts, would form Memoriam along side ex-Sacrilege bassist Frank Healy (also ex-Benediction/ex-Cerebral Fix), and guitarist Scott Fairfax (ex-Massacre). The act's first album would be For the Fallen in 2017, followed by Requiem for Mankind (2019).

To the End (2021) saw the first membership change in the form of ex-Sacrilege drummer Spikey T. Smith. Rise to Power (2023) would come next.
