Infectious GroovesBIOGRAPHYInfectious Grooves (1989-present): a Funk Metal band from Venice, California, USA. T he band Infectious Grooves is a funk metal supergroup led by Suicidal Tendencies front-man Mike Muir (vocals) whose original line-up consisted of Robert Trujillo (bass; of-(Metallica, Mass Mental, ex-(Jerry Cantrell, Ozzy Osbourne, Suicidal Tendencies, ex-Black Label Society (live)), Dean Pleasants (guitar; of-Suicidal Tendencies, ex-Ugly Kid Joe), Adam Siegel (guitar; of-Cyco Miko, ex-(Excel, My Head)) and Stephen Perkins (drums; of-(Hellflower, Jane's Addiction, Tabitha, ex-(Banyan, Class of '99, Hellride, Methods of Mayhem, Porno for Pyros, The Panic Channel)) to release The Plague That Makes Your Booty Move...It's the Infectious Grooves (1991) on the 'Epic' label. By the follow-up, Sarsippius' Ark (1993), Muir had changed the membership to feature Josh Freese on drums just for the album. Read All... ⏬ Josh Paul (bass) and Brooks Wackerman (drums) would appear for 1994's Groove Family Cyco and 1999's Borracho, now on their own 'Suicidal' lebel; the latter also seeing Herman Jackson on keyboards, but he would be gone by 2020 for the Take U on a Ride EP.
