Acid Witch

n their 2008 debut, Witchtanic Hellucinations, Acid Witch produce a "psychedelic death doom" sound, as it features downtuned, sludgey, simplistic riffs, very low death growls, and a healthy dose of spacey, drug-infused trippiness in the form of keyboard or guitar effects. The tempo rarely gets above midpace. The debut would feature Lasse Pyykkö (vocals), Shagrat (lyrics (tracks 5, 6)) and Slasher Dave (lyrics (tracks 8, 11, 13)). After the follow-up, Stoned (2010), Evil Sound Screamers (2017) saw a line-up change to Mike Tuff (guitars) and Phil Warren (drums). By the time Rot Among Us was released in 2022, the band had been reduced to Tim "Shagrat" Jenkins, "Slasher" Dave Monastiere and Phil Warren.
