LeprousBIOGRAPHYLeprous (2001-present): a Progressive Metal band from Notodden, Norway. T his Norwegian progressive metal band has been racking up solid reviews since their founding in 2001, but especially for their 2011 release Bilateral. The build-up to these reviews started with their 2009 debut, Tall Poppy Syndrome under the membership of Tor Oddmund Suhrke (guitars/vocals (backing)), Einar Solberg (vocals (lead)/keyboards), Øystein Landsverk (guitars/vocals (backing)), Tobias Ørnes Andersen (drums) and Halvor Strand (bass). The aforementioned Bilateral, their second effort, followed to acclaim and with Rein T. Blomquist taking up bass. After Coal (2013) the second membership change would occur with The Congregation (2015) featuring Baard Kolstad on drums. The next change happened with Malina (2017), Pitfalls (2019), Aphelion (2021) and Melodies of Atonement (2024) all featuring Simen Daniel Børven now on bass, and Robin Ognedal on second guitar.
