Battle Beast

his Finnish sextet have a feather in their cap, winning the Wacken Open Air Metal Battle Contest in 2010. They debuted a year later with Steel under the membership of Eero Sipilä (bass/vocals (backing)/narration), Pyry Vikki (drums), Juuso Soinio (guitars), Anton Kabanen (guitars/vocals/songwriting/lyrics), Janne Björkroth (keyboards/orchestrations/vocals (backing)) and Nitte Valo (vocals (lead)), and two years after that 'Nuclear Blast Records' snapped them up, furthering their style mixing prime Euro power metal with a decided 80s pop influences popularity as displayed on their follow-up album, Battle Beast in 2013, now with Noora Louhimo on lead vocals.

Unholy Savior (2015) and Bringer of Pain (2017) came next, the later release featuring Joona Björkroth (guitars and selected songwriting).

No More Hollywood Endings (2019), Circus of Doom (2022) and Steelbound (2025) came next.
