F eaturing most of the membership of the future Kayo Dot, extremely progressive metal band Maudlin of the Well would debut with Jason Byron (vocals/lyrics: tracks 2-4, 6), Maria-Stella Fountoulakis (vocals (female)/lyrics: track 1), Greg Massi (guitars (lead)), Tobias D. (guitars/bass/keyboards/clarinet/vocals (backing)/songwriting/lyrics: tracks 1, 5, 7), Jason Bitner (trumpet) and Sam Gutterman (drums) to release My Fruit PsychoBells ... A Seed Combustible (1999). Bath (2001), Leaving Your Body Map (2001) and Part the Second (2009), the follow-ups, saw Josh Seipp-Williams added on guitars.
