eaning "created (by) evil" in Swedish, Ondskapt would debut in 2001 with the Slave Under His Immortal Will EP under the line-up of Nabemih (drums/lyrics (track 1)/songwriting) and Acerbus (Real Name: Charles-Axel Cornelius Axelson Johnson; vocals/guitars/bass/lyrics/songwriting). For the follow-up, Draco Sit Mihi Dux (2003), the line-up expanded to include Wredhe (Real Name: Fredric Gråby; bass/vocals (additional); later to move on to Bloodline).

For the act's third opus, Dödens evangelium (2005), the line-up expanded once again to include S.B. (Real Name: Siavosh Bigonah; bass (tracks 1-6, 12)) while the next set, Arisen from the Ashes (2010), saw the line-up change to feature Avsky (Real Name: Daniel Hans Reine Alvbåge; bass/songwriting (track 6)) and S.W. (Real Name: Simon Wizén; guitars/songwriting (tracks 2-4, 7, 8)). Grimoire Ordo Devus (2020), the act's last effort saw a complete remake of the membership with Acerbus linking up with Gefandi Or Andlät (Real Name: Max Aspögård; bass/songwriting), Daemonum Subeunt (Real Name: Erik Röjås; drums) and J. Megiddo (Real Name: Joel Lindholm; guitars). The band split up on May 31st 2023.
