orming in 1988 Derkéta would launch onto the scene with their 1989 demo Official Rehearsal 9/5/89 (1989) under the membership of Sharon Bascovsky (guitars/vocals), Terri Heggen (drums) and Kim August (bass). It wouldn't be until 2012 and two reformations later (one lasting only a year: 1997) with the release of In Death We Meet with Robin Mazen (bass) and Mary M. Bielich (guitars) that Derkéta would see a studio album debut proper after four split albums in the form of Nunslaughter / Derkéta (1999), Behold the Legions of Hell (2003), Derkéta / Mythic (2007) and The Screams of Death Shriek Vol. I (2012).
