Mortuary Drape

round since 1986 and recording only sporadically over the years with their most productive era being the late 1990s thru early 2000s, Mortuary Drape are often labelled as a death metal/black metal band, but those influences are secondary for the core sound is 80s-influenced dark influenced thrash metal, with deathly vocals and plenty of occult/horror themes.

Under the membership of Maniac of Sacrifice (Real Name: Fabrizio Scinta; guitars (lead)), Diabolic Obsession (bass) and Wildness Perversion (Real Name: Walter Maini; drums/vocals), Into the Drape EP would arrive in 1992. Soon after Old Necromancer (guitars (lead)) would join for the release of All the Witches Dance (1994). Nequam (Real Name: Flavio Domenico Porrati; drums) arrived in time for the release of Mourn Path EP (1996) and Secret Sudaria (1997).

Tolling 13 Knell saw an almost totally new line-up in the form of Without Name (bass/vocals), Roaming Soul (guitars/vocals (backing)), Demon Shadow (guitars) and I.O.R.R. Will Revealed (Real Name: Massimo Altomare; drums), Left-Hand Preacher (Real Name: Daniele Cagnotto; bass/vocals (backing)) with only Wildness Perversion (vocals) as the original member. Buried in Time (2004) saw yet another membership change in the form of Seeker of the Unknown (guitars (lead)/vocals (backing)), Arcane of Veiled Light (Real Name: Damien Dell'Amico; bass), Cruel Abbot (guitars (lead)) Wildness Perversion (Real Name: Walter Maini; vocals),Cruel Abbot (guitars (lead)) and W.M. Helgast (drums/vocals (backing)).
