pectral recorded their first full-length album with computer equipment to reduce the production costs. Colossos (Real Name: Daniel Kohl; ex-bass), however, quit halfway through the production to pursue his own interests. The band played several shows without a bassist until Agressor joined the band. That first album, Barbaric Assault featured the line-up of Destructor (Real Name: Meik Meiers; drums), Agressor (Real Name: Mario Meinen; bass), Teutonlord (Real Name: German Wollwert; guitars/vocals/keyboards), Rat (Real Name: Ralph Theveßen; guitars) and Zerberus (Real Name: Carlo Lepage; vocals).

Dawn of Gods (2004) would see the next line change of Nidhögg (Real Name: Sascha Weber; on guitars). Two more positions changed hands in the form of Exkrementor (Real Name: Florian Thomé) on bass, and Vidar (Real Name: Marco Ewertz) now on lead vocals for Stormriders (2007).

Keyboards was added on Evil Iron Kingdom (2009) and Gateway to Death (2012) in the form of Gabbelz (Real Name: Andreas Goebels). But keyboard would be assumed by Teutonlord for Arctic Sunrise (2017).

The previous year's EP, In Battle with Fire and Steel saw the band as a three-piece only featuring Ewald (vocals (lead)), Gabbelz (keyboards) and German (a.k.a. Teutonlord; guitars/vocals).
