Straight Reads the Line

ome call it "screamo". but where punk meets thrash you have metalcore and in that realm resides a band called Straight Reads the Line. Hailing from Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada, the act would release two recordings, Lets Get Nuts EP (2005) and The Author (2008) featuring the membership of Andrew Tompa (bass), Travis Kaszycki (drums), Andrew McDermid (guitars), Don Levasseur (guitars/vocals) and Blake Prince (vocals) with the act previously featuring Chris Taylor (drums) and Josh Mackenzie (R.I.P. 2006; guitars) for the aforementioned demo and EP. The band would split in 2010.
