AyahuairaBIOGRAPHYAyahuaira (1999-present): a Black Metal band from Huancayo, Peru. W anka is an old Peruvian civilization which existed before the Inkas. Ayahuaira means "winds of death" in Quechua, an ancient Andean language, and it refers to a curse that kills whoever breaks into a tomb. It's taken from Andean tradition. With this knowledge behind them, Ayahuaira would debut with Wanka bélica (2011) under the membership of Gustavo Baldeón "Chopjas Atipac" (guitars/bass), José Vásquez "Sicario" (drums), Carlos Baldeón "Ochoja" (guitars) and Cristian Villalobos "Sajgra" (vocals).
