Taist of Iron

ne of many obscure American bands trying to make their mark in the scene while the metal focus was on England is Taist of Iron with their 1984 debut Resurrection under the leadership of Bill Wylum (guitars/vocals (backing)), Mark Glabe (bass), Jeff Massey (drums) and Lorraine Gill (vocals (lead)). The act would not survive and split n 1986.

Fast forward to 2012, and although the Americans long since made their mark on the metal scene, Taist of Iron would be resurrected to try again with the release of Taist of Iron self-titled in 2017 featuring Glabe and Gill now along side Steve Gale (R.I.P. 2017 of murder) on guitars, and Tom Cleeves on drums.

Due to the murder of Gale, new guitarist Steve Stefanowicz stepped in, along with Isaac Hernandez (guitars) added later in 2019.
