hen Mezzrow released their debut album, Then Came the Killing, in 1990 under the membership of Staffe Karlsson (R.I.P. 2018 of colon cancer; guitars), Zebba Karlsson (guitars), [Steffe Karlsson (drums), Uffe Pettersson (vocals) and Conny Welén (bass), everyone seemed to be into by the book old-school thrash metal and not very different from other similar bands of that era. Although the album wasn't a bad effort, the band split in 1993.

Fast forward to 2005 and a failed reunification that lasted less than one year.

Fast forward again to 2021 and a more successful reunification to release, two years later, Summon Thy Demons with the membership of the returning Conny Welén (bass/vocals (backing)) and Ulf Pettersson (vocals), now with Jon Skäre (drums), Magnus Söderman (guitars (lead)) and Ronnie Björnström (guitars). The next album, Embrace the Awakening (2025), saw Alvaro Svanerö take drums.
