CacophonyBIOGRAPHYCacophony (1986-1989): a Speed Metal band from San Francisco, California, USA. N ot to be confused with Cacophony, a raw black metal from Portland, Oregon, would be a short lived act starting out with Peter Marrino (vocals), Marty Friedman (ex-Megadeth/ex-Deuce/ex-Vixen, guitars/bass), Jason Becker (guitars) and Atma Anur (drums) to release Speed Metal Symphony in 1987. Go Off! (1988), the act's second album, featuring Jimmy O'Shea now on bass, and Deen Castronovo on drums, would prove to be the band's swan-song for they folded the next year.
