PainBIOGRAPHY Pain (1996-present): a Industrial Metal band from Ludvika, Dalarna, Sweden. T his "one-man-band" was formed in 1996 as a "hobby" project for Peter TÃĪgtgren (Hypocrisy), whose idea was to mix heavy metal with techno and industrial influences. Six of the albums made it into the Swedish hit charts. Since the album Psalms of Extinction session members participate in the recording of the studio albums. The discography would feature Pain (1997), Rebirth (1999), Nothing Remains the Same (2002), Dancing with the Dead (2005), Psalms of Extinction (2007), Cynic Paradise (2008), You Only Live Twice (2011), Coming Home (2016) and I Am (2024).
