his band is one of a few German entries into the gothic metal field, debuting in 2003 with Kill the Sun under the membership of Marco Heubaum (guitars/keyboards/programming/songwriting (tracks 1-4, 6-10)/lyrics (tracks 1, 2, 4, 6-10)), Elisabeth Rodermund (vocals/songwriting (tracks 3, 5, 9)/lyrics (tracks 3, 5, 9)), Philip Restemeier (guitars), Roland Krueger (bass) and Gerit Lamm (drums/percussion) and featuring a lighter, accessible symphonic gothic metal. Ravenheart (2004) followed.

India (2005) and with it came a small line-up change in the form of Nils Middelhauve (bass/songwriting (tracks 3, 12, 13)/lyrics (tracks 3, 5, 7, 11-13)).

After Salomé: The Seventh Veil (2007), Neverworld's End (2012) followed, with Manuela Kraller on vocals/lyrics (track 9, 10). The vocal slot changed hands again, this time with bass, for Sacrificium (2014) to feature Steven Wussow on bass, and Dianne van Giersbergen on vocals and lyrics (tracks 9, 12); this release would be followed by Theater of Dimensions (2017). A major line-up change would occur for the next release, however, when The Wonders Still Awaiting (2023) featured Tim Schwarz (bass), Dimitrios "Tracki" Gatsios (drums), Robert Klawonn (guitars (lead)) and Ambre Vourvahis (vocals).
