Thunder and LightningBIOGRAPHY Thunder and Lightning (2004-present): a Power Metal band from Berlin, Germany. I t is amazing it took so long to find a band under this rather obvious heavy metal name, but debuting with Purity (2008) and Dimension (2010), Thunder and Lightning would feature the membership of Robert Rath (bass), Steve Mittag (drums), Benjamin Dämmrich (guitars), Marc Wüstenhagen (guitars/vocals) and Norman Dittmar (vocals (lead)). This line-up would continue through In Charge of the Scythe (2013), the Slice of Life EP (2014) and The Ages Will Turn (2016). The first line-up change would be with the Heavy Essentials EP in 2017, now with Fabrizio Agabiti taking lead guitars. Demonicorn (2019), Demonicovers (2020), F.E.A.R. (2021) and Of Wrath and Ruin (2024) followed.
