Biography

Exit-13 (1989-1997): a Metalcore band from Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, USA.

F

ormed in January 1989 by Pat McCahan (drums/vocals) from the ashes of his previous band, Distorted World, with which a 1988 demo tape entitled Peace was released, part of which was re-recorded for the first Exit-13 demo. Exit-13 became a studio-only project in 1993.

During this act's tenue it featured a large portion of the membership of Brutal Truth in the form of Dan Lilker (bass/piano/vocals), Scott Lewis (drums) and Richard Hoak (drums/piano/vocals). The group would also feature Terry Sherry (bass), Dave Witte (drums), Bill Yurkiewicz (vocals/samples/electronics), Joel DiPietro (R.I.P. 2015; bass), Craig (drums), Steve O'Donnell (guitars), Bill Shaeffer (drums) and female vocalist Bliss Blood (vocals) during 1995. The act would release Green Is Good! (1990), Spare the Wrench, Surrender the Earth EP (1991), Don't Spare the Green Love compilation (1993), Ethos Musick (1994), ...Just a Few More Hits EP (1995) and Smoking Songs (1996). The compilation High Life! would be released posthumously in 2007.
