Eisenfunk

Eisenfunk (2006-2014) is a Electronica band from Germany.

P

robably one of the most famous tracks by this band was Pong featuring a stunning computer enhanced video of the members performing, dancing and bouncing an old fashioned computer block cursor among themselves to a pulsating beat based on the Pong video game the track was named after. The band was founded by Michael Mayer (synthesizer) in early 2006. Their first EP, Funkferngesteuert arrived later that same year. In 2007, Arthur Stauder (E-Drums) and Toni Schulz (keyboard/sampler) joined the group.Eisenfunk (2007), 300 EP (2008), Schmerzfrequenz (2009), 8 Bit (2010) and Pentafunk (2011) would follow.

In May 2014 the band announced the end of the Eisenfunk project; the act's last official concert took place on 17 May, 2014, in Ingolstadt, Germany. Despite the termination of the project, their music is still played online and continues to gain popularity among new Cybergoths.
