Engine (1998-present) is a Power Metal band from USA.

ngine would be the solo project of vocalist Ray Alder (of Fates Warning) who recruited other Fates Warning buddies during the band's downtime Bernie Versailles (ex-Agent Steel/ex-Redemption/of Fates Warning; guitar), Joey Vera (ex-Armored Saint/of Fates Warning; bass) and Pete Parada (ex-Steel Prophet; drums) to release two albums thus far of groove oriented power metal in the form of Engine (1999) and Superholic (2002) on the 'Metal Blade' label.
