ith the membership of Germano Quintabà (vocals), Fabio Monti (guitars/vocals (backing)), Luciano Monti (guitars/vocals (backing)), Manuele Maricotti (bass) and Marco Bracciotti(drums) Centurion would start off with the launch of Arise Of The Empire (1999), a debut that saw 6000 units sold and mixed the style of Judas Priest with Slayer and Testament.
Centurion would take a break to return in 2000 with Hyper Martyrium under the line-up modification of Massimiliano Ricci on bass and Sebastiano Massetti (drums).
Emanuele Beccacece took over drums for the release of Non Plvs Vltra (2002) and Invulnerable (2005) where Gianluca Mandolesi had assumed bass.
By the time the aptly fifth opus, V, was released in 2015, the line-up had taken a considerable shift with only Fabio Monti remaining; the other roles filled by Gianluca Mandolesi (bass), Roberto "Robo" Cenci (vocals/classic guitar), Giovanni Pezzola (drums) and Leonardo Postacchini (guitars).
Footnote: Centurion recorded a never released demo under the name Sharpened Razor called Mors Tua Vita Mea in 1997 before changing their name to Centurion. The band is also known as Centvion (with a "V" instead of a "U", the way it would have been done in the Roman times); the act's subject concentration is of subject of the Roman era.
