Carnage

ith the line-up of Matti Karki (vocals), David Blumkvist (guitar), Michael Amott (guitar),

Johnny Dordevic (bass) and Fred Estby (drums), Carnage would become one of the earlier Swedish death metal bands to release one low-tuned, Grindy album, Dark Recollection (1990). Carnage, however, failed to survive, not because they were in anyway a bad band, but because the members all went on to other projects to greater fame, with three of the five leaving to Dismember within a year of the album's release. The live album, Live Stockholm Sweden 4.11.89. arrived posthumously in 1991.
