Oliver/Dawson Saxon

Biography

Oliver/Dawson Saxon (2000-present): a Heavy Metal band from Rotherham, England, UK.

T

his act was formed by former Saxon members Graham Oliver (guitars) and Steve Dawson (bass) when they left that band in 1995 to form Son of a Bitch and tried registered the name Saxon in 1997 and for a period there were two versions of Saxon touring. On 25th February 2003, the law found in favor of Saxon front-man Biff Byford, leaving Oliver and Dawson were forced to rename their version to Oliver/Dawson Saxon to release several live albums, their only studio recording of note being their debut Motorbiker (2012) adding Haydn Conway (guitars), John Ward (vocals) and Paul Oliver (drums).
