A

lthough in the early days the act played death metal influenced music, over their tenure they have dabbled with many styles. The membership of Theobald Brooks Lengyel (saxophone/keyboards), Trevor Roy Dunn (bass/vocals (backing)), Scummy (Real Name: Preston Lea Spruance III; guitars), Vlad Drac (Real Name: Michael Allan Patton; vocals/keyboards), Heifetz (Real Name: Daniel Mark Heifetz; drums/percussion) and Bar (Real Name: Clinton Andrew Mckinnon; keyboards/clarinet/tenor/sax) to release Mr. Bungle (1991). Although they changed their stage names around, the next album would arrive in the form of Disco volante (1995) and California (1999). For The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo (2020), Dave Lombardo (exSuicidal Tendencies) would assume drums, and Scott Ian would assume guitars.

Patton was/is is involved in several other projects besides this one. The band went on-hold in 2000 until Patton gave an indication around 2004 that the band had hung it up. In 2019 that was proven false.
