Alliance

ounded in 1980, Alliance was a short-lived melodic hard rock outfit founded by Mark Buccare. With guitarist Pat Hand, keyboardist Mark Hackett, bassist Bradley Davidson and drummer David Pridemore, their work became known for its note perfect musicianship and razor sharp arrangements. Sounding a lot like Journey meets Styx and Kansas, their 1982 debut self-titled album lacked enough suss to separate them from the clones on the market at the time. Disillusioned at the lack of fan and label support they subsequently shut down shop a year later.
