Operation Counterstrike (1997-2010): a Death Metal band from Hanover, Germany.

F

eaturing the remarkably stable line-up of Hendrik Schelenz (bass), Gerrit Schneehage (drums), Stephan Haut (guitars), Christopher Haut (guitars) and Meikel Rümper (vocals), Germany's Operation Counterstrike would release Bromelie (1999), Surveillance (2001), Composter of Death (2004) and Botheration! (2008) before splitting in 2010 and reforming as BloodVorteX. Before any recordings were ever released Kai Swillus was a member of drums.
