pening in 1985 after the demise of their former short lived outfit Asylum, Aggression came to be under the membership of Butcher (Real Name: Éric Langlois; vocals (lead)), Death (Real Name: Denis Barthe; guitars/vocals), Gate (Real Name: Gaëtan Bourassa; R.I.P. 2009; drums/vocals), Burn (Real Name: Bernard Caudron; guitars/vocals) and Dug (Real Name: Yves Duguay; bass/vocals) to release Demo I in 1985.

Two more demos passed before the release of their first studio album proper in the form of The Full Treatment (1987) with Pierre "Cactus Pete" Fleurant taking lead vocals. The debut was followed by Forgotten Skeleton (2004) and the Fractured Psyche Demons compilation (2015).

With the release of Fragmented Spirit Devils (2016), the aptly titled Feels like Punk, Sounds Like Thrash (2018), the From the Frozen Vaults 84/86 compilation (2020), Field of Nightmares EP (2021) and From Hell with Hate (2022) the line-up was completely revised featuring Barthe along with Ryan Idris (drums), Dave Watson (guitars), Brian Langley (vocals) and Martin Meyer (bass). More recently Kyle Hagen assumed bass. Although the band started shop in Montreal, QC but has since moved to Vancouver, BC.
