AntiochBiography/HistoryAntioch (2013-present): a Heavy Metal band from Emeryville, Ontario, Canada. D uring the 2010s and into the 2020s, Canada has been at the forefront of the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal scene. One out of three bands seem to hail from the Great White North. Throughout that time, groups continue to rise and one band that arose is Canada's Antioch. Formed in a broken down garage in Emeryville, Ontario this group of Judas Priest fans formed in the summer of 2013. Carrying on in the style of bands like Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Manowar and the aforementioned Judas Priest, Antioch set out to add more catchy rockers and anthems to Heavy Metal's never-ending lexicon. Antioch would has self-released three full-length albums and an EPs in the form of Antioch EP (2014), Antioch II: First Strÿke (2015), Antioch III: Wings and Warlocks (2017) and Antioch IV: Land of No Kings (2019) under the leadership of Jordan Rhyno (bass/guitars), Brendan Rhyno (drums), Nicholas Allaire (vocals), along with Alex Dupuis (guitars who joined in 2013 but left by 2020 when Jordan Rhyno took it over after the band's three year hiatus that saw them reforming in that year to release Antioch V EP (2021) the following year. After signing a deal with 'Iron Shield', Antioch would release Antioch VI: Molten Rainbow (2023). Dashboard for Antioch
