Potentiam (1997-2007, 2012-2019): a Black Metal band from Reykjavík, Iceland.

O

riginally starting in 1996 under the name Hell but now settling on the membership of Forn (Real Name: Birgir Már Þorgeirsson; guitars/keyboards/vocals (additional)) and Eldur (Real Name: Einar Thorberg Guðmundsson; guitars (lead)/keyboards/bass/vocals), Potentiam would debut with Bálsýn (1999) after restareting in 1997. Berti (Real Name: Engilbert Hauksson) would assume bass, and Kristján (Real Name: Kristján B. Heiðarsson) took drums for the follow-up, Orka í myrkri (2004).
