his band was formed by Jari Mäenpää (vocals (lead)/guitars/keyboards/bass (2004)) as a side project when he was in Ensiferum but when his schedule got too full during the recording of the debut self-titled album he left Ensiferum. That first album was recorded entirely by Mäenpää, except for drums which were performed by Kai Hahto.

The follow-up, Time I (2012) featured Teemu Mäntysaari (guitars/vocals (choirs; track 2)) and Jukka Koskinen (bass/vocals (choirs; track 2)/vocals (additional harsh; tracks 2, 5)) on selected tracks. Former Ensiferum drummer Oliver Fokin briefly preceded Teemu Mäntysaari as the second guitarist but left after the release of the debut album.

The Forest Seasons (2017) followed sans Hahto.
