Avolition

his may very well be the only band hailing from Saint Pierre and Miquelon, an archipelago of eight islands of which only two are occupied by about 6,000 people located just south of the Canadian province of Newfoundland & Labrador. Although surrounded by Canada on three sides, and the Atlantic Ocean on the fourth, the islands are a self-governing colony of France. Featuring only the membership of G (drums) and D (guitars/bass/vocals/lyrics); yes only known by letters, Avolition, in psychopathology, means "the decrease in the motivation to initiate and perform self-directed purposeful activities" would release only a self-titled EP in 2017.
