Corpse Grinder (1987-present): a Death Metal band from Machado, Brazil.

A

lthough existing since 1987, Brazil's Corpse Grinder, after releasing several demos, would be first heard internationally with their debut release of Persistence(2001) under the stewardship of Júnior Vieira (vocals/guitars), Flavio Nery (bass), Humberto Silva (guitars (lead)) and Rômulo Júnior (drums) - all original members except Renato Ferreira (R.I.P. 2021; guitars), who had left in 1990.

Celebration of Hate (2003), the live set Underground Celebration Live 2003 (2003) and Hail to Death Metal Legion (2007) would follow; the latter featuring Hellio Bonegrinder now on lead guitar.

Apocalyptic Terror (2011) saw another line-up change in the form of Kleber Almeida assuming drums. Perpetual Purgatory (2015) and Into the Coffin (2018) followed.
