Black River

tarting as an all-star cast band in 2008, Black River formed when each member wanted to escape from the standardized style of their own acts; in Black River they could just let it go. The members: Daray (Real Name: Dariusz Brzozowski; drums), Orion (Real Name: Tomasz Wróblewski; bass), Art (Real Name: Artur Kempa; guitar), Kay (Real Name: Piotr Wtulich; guitar) and Taff (Real Name: Maciej Taff; vocals) hail from bands like Dimmu Borgir, Behemoth, Vesania, Rootwater made an excellent mixture of very energetic classic heavy metal and stoner rock music, despite their death metal and black metal background on their 2008 debut Black River. Their follow-up, Black n Roll (2009) met international claim. After the Trash compilation (2010), Humanoid (2019) and Generation aXe (2022) represented their third and fourth efforts respectively.
