Blackend

ith the founding membership of Mario Unterhuber (bass), Michael Goldschmidt (guitars/vocals), Alex Mayer (drums) and Manuel Unterhuber (guitars), Blackend launched with Sloth in 1997. Mental. Game. Messiah. and The Last Thing Undone followed in 1997 and 2001 respectively. After that third recording, however, Blackend went under a drastic membership change, being restarted in 2002 under the leadership of Goldschmidt recruiting Ananda Fallou Mbaye (bass), Mr. T (Trondt) (drums) and Stephan Wittenburg "Chic" (guitars). This line-up did not help the band's fortunes for they folded later that same year.
