eaturing the original line-up of Scott Latour (bass/vocals), Francis M. Howard (guitars) and Moyses M. Howard (drums), Incubus would release their first full-length in the form of Serpent Temptation (1988), but it would only be the Howard brothers for the follow-up Beyond the Unknown (1990). Pete Slate briefly was added to guitars in 1991.

For Serpent Temptation (1996), Mark Lavenia had assumed the bass position but he wouldn't last to see another recording because André Luiz had taken it less than a year. Luiz Carlos was added to guitars in 1997 but the band broke up two years later to reform as Opprobrium; the Beyond the Unknown/Serpent Temptation compilation (2000), Supernatural Death compilation (2018) and Live "Villa Roller" 30.04.91 live EP (2020) released posthumously.
