Witchrot

lthough they existed before 2018, Witchrot had not released an album, and despite rumors of the drummer's death (anyone remember Spinal Tap) and an apparent love triangle that temporarily put the band on hold, Witchrot would return with a self-titled EP in 2018 under the membership of Peter Turik (bass), Simon Kou (drums), Ky Ull (guitars) and Lea Alyssandra Reto (vocals). After a membership shake-up featuring Cam Alford (bass) and Nick Kervin (drums), Hollow (2021) and the live set Live in the Hammer (2022); the 'hammer' in question being a reference to Hamilton, Ontario, an industrial city an hour outside of Toronto known as 'the Hammer'.
