Blackrat (2012-2021): a Thrash Metal band from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

U

nder the refreshingly stable membership of Russell Shanahan (drums), Stu Loughlin (bass/vocals) and Ian Lemke (guitars/vocals), Canadian thrash metal/black metal crossover act Blackrat would release their debut album Whiskey and Blasphemy (2013) after a single demo named just Demo earlier that same year. Hail to Hades (2016) followed three years later. Another demo in the form of Demo 2017 and their third effort, Dread Reverence arrived in 2017 and 2018 respectively before the act split up.
