Commander (2004-2007): a Thrash Metal band from Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA.

B

owling Green, Kentucky band Commander would release only one studio album and an EP during their existence after kicking off with the live set Hacksaw - Live at SOKY Fair (2004) under the sole membership of Josh Hines (bass), Jeremie Pryor (drums; R.I.P. 2014), Jon Bratcher (guitars) and Chris Hightower (vocals). After the compilation (of demo tracks), Nashville Misfits Comp (2005), those two studio efforts, Wall of Swords (2005) EP and the full-length Altar of Bones (2006) followed. The band would split in 2007. The compilation Throne of Blood would be released posthumously in 2019.
