IMonolith (2018-present): a Heavy Metal band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

A

lthough officially formed in February 2018 by Ryan 'RVP' Van Poederooyen (drums; ex-Devin Townsend Project) and Brian Waddell (guitars; ex-Devin Townsend Project), the seeds of IMonolith originally started when the pair began writing music in 2015 while respectively playing in the Devin Townsend Project. After recruiting Byron Stroud (bass; Strapping Young Lad/Fear Factory), Jon Howard (vocals; Threat Signal/Arkaea) and 2nd guitarist Kai Huppunen (Methods of Mayhem/Noise Therapy) to complete the line-up, by 2020 the act had released their debut effort, State Of Being, to follow it up with Progressions (2022).
