lthough starting out as Battle Asperagus by Charly Freedom Lovehurts (Real Name: Karl Swoboda; guitars) and Pete Monroe (Real Name: Peter Patek) as a hard rock band in 1980, by 1981 they had changed their name and didn't record much until 1987 with the release of their debut album proper under the membership of Lovehurts along side Alex van Schaaf (drums), Buddy S. (Real Name: Bernd Bimashofer; bass), Chris Master (guitars), Pete de Oliviera(Real Name: Peter Swoboda; vocals). Their final album, Fear of Reality (1990) saw the revised line-up featuring Herby Mergancy replacing Master on guitars, along with new member Georg Rinder on keyboards. Although they played their last show in 1991, there was an attempt at reforming that lasted for one concert in 1998.
