The Monolith DeathcultBiography/HistoryThe Monolith Deathcult (2002-present): a Death Metal band from Kampen, Netherlands. M odel of contradictions, The Mononlith Deathcult's public persona depict a picture of regular guys joking around. And occasionally that shows on their albums, with their spoken-word/sampled interludes. But when the real music starts it's all a unique blend of brutal death metal, industrial sampling, and symphonic grandeur. Under the original membership of Robin Kok (vocals/bass), Michiel Dekker (guitar/vocals), Martijn Moes (guitars) and Sjoerd Visch (drums) they would be named Monolith to release a single album, The Apotheosis (2003), before changing their name to The Mononlith Deathcult to release The White Crematorium (2005). III - Trivmvirate (2008) would see the arrival of Carsten Altena (keyboards). After The White Crematorium 2.0 (2010), Tetragrammaton (2013) would see the arrival of Ivo Hilgenkamp on guitars. See All... ⏬ After V1 - Versus: It Will Burn Us Without Leaving Ash (2017), Hilgenkamp departed, while Frank Schilperoot stepped in on drums. This line-up remained for V2 - Vergelding: Dawn Of The Planet Of The Ashes (2018) and V3 - Vernedring: Connect The Goddamn Dots (2021) when Schilperoot left.
